KARACHI
The government of Sindh is committed to countering forced conversions and protecting the rights of all minorities. This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah while presiding over a meeting convened to address the forced conversion law here at CM House. The meeting was attended by Advisor Law Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput and other concerned officers. Mr Shah said that the Sindh government would be forming a committee to create consensus on the forced conversion law, which remained one of its priorities.
The CM hoped that through deliberations and dialogue, consensus would be achieved.
