Around 32 players from both Group A and Group B participated in the Skating Games Championship organized by Farhan Skating Club on the bank of the Indus River here on Sunday. Hanif Tahim, Shotokan Instructor, President District Boxing Association Dera Arif Qureshi graced the occasion as special guests. Eighteen players from Group A and 14 players from Group B participated in the Championship organized for the first time in Dera. All the players performed their best and did their best to claim the victory. In this competition, Mohammad Zubair came first, Jalil came second and Mohammad Farhan came third from Group A. Mohammad Payam, Mohammad Ibrahim, Elijah Zainab and Behzad bagged the first, second, third and fourth positions respectively in Group B.
On this occasion, the President of District Sports Council Muhammad Hanif Tahim said that we have been working for sports and would continue to do more such sports events. At the end special prayers were offered for the prosperity and development of Pakistan.
