Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural Zafar Ahmad Khan issued strict instructions to investigation officers for early completion of investigations of cases and arrest of wanted criminals.
SP Rural Peshawar was presiding over a crime review meeting of the rural areas of the provincial metropolis in his office here on Wednesday.
SHOs and investigation officers of the rural division including SDPO Chamkani were present in the meeting.
A comparative analysis of heinous crime in the Rural Area of Peshawar was carried out in the meeting review of the serious crimes committed this year and strict instructions were issued for the arrest of wanted criminals within four days.
SP Zafar said on the occasion that strict legal action will be taken against those who do not complete the inquiries within the specified time frame.
He said that protection of life and property of citizens is the first responsibility in which no negligence can be tolerated.
SP Rural made it clear during the meeting that police officers and officials should act indiscriminately against criminals including drug dealers and people involved in weapons display, as well as the possession mafia and gamblers.
