Special Anti-polio campaign will start from 15th May in 12 districts of Punjab.
The campaign will continue for 7 days in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad.
The duration of campaign in other districts Bhakar, Layya , DG Khan, Mianwali, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur and Sheikhupura will be for 5 days.
A target of 108,500,000 children up to five years of age was set for vaccination during special campaign of polio eradication.
More than 84 thousand polio workers will perform their duties. Under Chief Secretary Punjab, the meeting of Provincial task force for Anti-polio campaign was held on Friday in Civil Secretariat.
The arrangement of special Anti-polio campaign for eradication of polio have been overviewed in meeting.
Chief Secretary Punjab has directed, Anti-polio campaign should be made successful and special focus should be made to improve Micro plans for coverage of missed children.
He has said, everyone should need to continue work together with national spirit.
Chief Secretary has also issued instructions to department of health regarding taking review of Human resource model.
Secretary Primary health Ali Khan has given detailed briefing to participatns of proceeding.
Authorities of heath department and representatives of international organizations working for eradication of polio have participated in meeting.
