Islamabad: The Special Judge Central Court has scheduled the hearing of the bail cancellation petition of Najaf Hameed, brother of Faiz Hameed, for February 24, 2026. During the previous hearing, the court had already granted time to the lawyer for preparing arguments. The hearing will be presided over by Special Judge Central Shah Rukh Arjumand. In the last session, an assisting lawyer appeared on behalf of Najaf Hameed. The court directed that a copy of the petition be provided to Najaf Hameed’s legal team. The assisting lawyer requested that the court allow time for arguments, which will be presented by the senior counsel. The court accepted the request and adjourned the hearing until February 24. It is noted that Najaf Hameed’s bail had previously been granted by the court on the basis of reconciliation. ONLINE
