KHYBER
A day long sports fair for disabled persons of Khyber was held here at Shahid Afridi sports complex, sub-division Bara last day.
The sports activity was organized under the banner of Serhad Rural Support Program (SRSP).
Beside a social worker and philanthropist Haji Maroof Afridi as chief guest, the sport gala was attended by incharge SRSP, Khyber Sartaj Afridi, chairman special youth welfare organization Ayaz Afridi, leader of Qabail Awami Party Haji Aburrazaq Afridi number of disable players and general masses.
The special players competed in games of Cricket, Football, Tug of War and WheelChairs Race and presented their best of talent.
The chief guest said that disable persons are the most neglected portion of the society and every platform will be utilized to address their problems.
Earlier, Sartaj Khan, a representative of SRSP apprised the audience of the activities carried out by the organization in the district for the betterment of special people beside general people.
At the end the chief guest awarded trophies and prizes to the best teams and outstanding players.
