ISLAMABAD: In a meeting with officers and officials of the Investigation Technical Expert Unit (ITEU), SSP Investigation Dr. Muhammad Iqbal emphasized the importance of performing duty with commitment and dedication, a police public relations officer said. The meeting was attended by DSP RDU, branch in-charges, digital expert unit, fingerprint unit, crime record unit, crime scene unit, and focal person of the competent courts. During the meeting, SSP Investigation held an introductory session with the staff and took a detailed briefing from them about their work. He also inquired about the problems faced by them. “The duties of all ITEU staff are crucial in the police department,” he said, while issuing instructions to all officers. “A zero-tolerance policy will be adopted on corruption and negligence.” SSP Investigation further directed the officials to utilize every possible resource to protect the life and property of citizens and pursue the cases on merit and transparency.
