PESHAWAR
SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar on Tuesday paid a visit to Peshawar High Court (PHC) to review the security arrangements made by Capital City Police Peshawar.
During the visit, SSP Operations Peshawar met with with the officials of the High Court Bar.
Acting SP Security Muhammad Arshad Khan and other police officers were also present during the visit.
On this occasion, SSP Operations said that the security of all sensitive places, including the High Court, is among the top priorities, for which all energies are being utilised.
SSP Kashif Zulfiqar Operations inspected the CCTV cameras and briefed the administrative officers regarding the security arrangements and held a detail meeting with the security and administrative officers, the security situation was discussed in view of the current situation.
He gave necessary instructions to the police officers and personnel on duty to make security more effective. Also directed the police personnel on duty to ensure the use of bulletproof vests and helmets and also to strictly search all persons entering the premises of the High Court.
Capital city police are trying to maintain law and order situation in the provincial capital and all available resources would be utilized for this purpose, he added.
