SSP Operations visits various Churches to inspect security arrangements

SSP Operations Lieutenant Commander (R) Kashif Aftab Abbasi on Sunday visited different Churches of the provincial capital in order to inspect arrangements made for security purposes.
He said that best security arrangements were being ensured at worship places of the city especially the churches to prevent any untoward incident.
During his visits, SSP Operations said that police striving hard to provide sense of security to the minorities by ensuring best security arrangement at their worship places.
SP City Atiq Shah was also present on the occasion.
SSP Operations also met with minority community religious leaders and discussed other issues, including security, saying that no compromise could be made on the protection of minorities, they made the security of churches in the city.
Lieutenant Commander (R) Kashif Aftab Abbasi later visited the Police Command and Control Room and reviewed the monitoring system of various markets, highways through cameras.
SSP Operations Peshawar directed the quarter concerned to further improve monitoring, effective patrols and monitoring of suspicious elements through the control room.
On this occasion, SSP Operations made it clear that cameras have been installed in all the important and sensitive locations of the city, but the installation of more cameras was underway.
He shared that a total of 700 cameras will be installed, adding that the installation process has been accelerated, which will improve the city’s monitoring system.
Talking about Police Control 15, SSP Operations said that immediate action is taken on the calls received by the citizens, but police are taking important steps to further improve the response timing.
