SSP Operation Haroon Rashid on Sunday visited various polling stations for local government re-polling election in the provincial capital and inspects security arrangements taken by the police.
On this occasion he reviewed the security arrangements and issued special instructions to police personel. He also interacted with police staff stationed at different polling stations of Peshawar.
Talking to media, SSP Operations Haroon Rashid said that a comprehensive security arrangement have been planned and executed for a peaceful elections in the provincial capital.
He said that a large number of ladies police force has also been deputed at various polling stations for the facilitation of women voters, adding that no one would be allowed to disrupt the polling process in the Peshawar.
