Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Rai Mazhar Iqbal has directed all police officials to ensure repair of faulty vehicles as well as bikes and properly use them for efficient policing.
The SSP (Traffic) inspected the police assets at traffic police headquarters and directed for immediate repair of faulty bikes and vehicles. He directed all zonal DSPs to submit report with him in this regard and ensure efficient policing through proper use of available resources.
He said that report should include details of all available resources including machinery. The SSP (Traffic) said that special steps are also being ensured for provision of more bikes, latest vehicles and machinery to traffic police which would help to further improve performance. On the occasion, SP (Traffic) Arif Shah, all Zonal DSPs and traffic police inspectors were also present. The SSP (Traffic) urged the police officials to work hard for efficient policing as those showing good performance would be awarded.
