Toshakhana-2 case
RAWALPINDI: Statement of last two witnesses of prosecution was recorded during hearing of Toshakhana-2 case. Hearing of Toshakhana-2 case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi took place in Adiala Jail Monday. During the hearing of the case statements of NAB officer Mohsin Haroon and assistant director FIA Shahid Pervaiz were recorded. Defence lawyers will cross question these two witnesses in regard to their statements on September 24. The statements of all the witnesses of prosecution have been recorded in trial. No more witness will be presented. Evidence of 20 witnesses has been recorded so far. Cross questioning of 18 witnesses has been completed. During hearing of the case PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were presented from jail to the court. During the hearing of the case, 3 sisters of PTI founder and Mehrun Nisa daughter of Bushra Bibi were present in the court room during the hearing of the case. Senator Mashal Yusufzai and senator Ali Zafar were also present in the court. Defence counsels Arshid Tabrez and Zahir Chaudhry were also present in the court room during hearing of the case. Special public prosecutor FIA Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi and Umair Majid Malik appeared on behalf of prosecution. Special judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard the case in Adiala jail.
