KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has filed final challan of case pertaining to suicide attack on Karachi airport in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) . Mastermind of the attack Commander Bashir Baloch alias Bashir Zeb and Abdul Rehman alias Rehman Gul have been declared absconders in the challan. The court has issued orders for initiating proceedings to declare both of the terrorists proclaimed offenders. The court has sought details of property of the absconding accused. It is pertinent to mention here the court had expressed resentment for not filing final chllan during previous hearing remarking over five months have passed but the final challan is not being presented so far. The investigation officer once again sought time assuring the court that final challan will be filed on next hearing. This may be mentioned that suicide attack was carried out on convoy of Chinese nationals near Karachi airport in October 2024.
