PESHAWAR: Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT) Peshawar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mir Chakar Khan Rind University Sibi Balohistan to collaborate in academic, research and development matters. The Vice Chancellors of the both universities, Prof. Dr. Salim-ur-Rehman and Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective Universities.
The Member, Board of Trustees SUIT Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Director Admissions and Director General, Distance Learning Management was also present on this occasion.
The agreement is aimed at promoting research and development activities among both the Universities.
The Distance Education Program of Sarhad University will also be extended to the Province of Balochistan for establishment of quality Distance Education Centers in different areas of Balochistan.
This agreement will benefit the students of Balochistan residing in far flung areas of Province and cannot attend regular classes in the Universities.
