PESHAWAR
Acting on the directives of SP Cantt Division Aitzaz Arif, West (Gharbi) Police Station arrested a suspect involved in motorcycle and mobile phone theft during a targeted operation.
The operation was led by SHO Noor Muhammad Khan under the supervision of DSP Cantt Circle Dost Muhammad Khan. The accused, identified as Imran, son of Ezzat Khan and a resident of Faqir Kalay, was allegedly involved in defrauding citizens in various areas by offering fake gold and then stealing their mobile phones and motorcycles.
According to police, the arrest followed a complaint lodged by a citizen named Abbas at the West Police Station.
The complainant reported that his motorcycle and mobile phone were stolen through fraudulent means.
A case was registered, and investigation teams were formed immediately.
SP Cantt Aitzaz Arif took serious notice of the incident and directed a swift response. The police team successfully tracked down the suspect, who confessed to the crime during the initial investigation.
During the operation, police recovered a stolen motorcycle and a valuable mobile phone from the suspect’s possession.
