The second policy meeting of Revenue and State Department was held under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Tariq Mehmood Ary ani.
The meeting was attended by Revenue Working Group Member MNA Muhammad Atif Khan, MNA Arbab Sher Ali, Senior Member Board of Revenue Zahir Shah Khan, MPA Muhammad Naeem Khan, Digitization Expert Khalid Saeed, Director Land Record Yasir Hassan and other relevant officials.
In the meeting, a detailed briefing was given to the working group on the implementation of the recommendations of the previous meeting and the action taken.
Instructions were also issued to implement the new policy as soon as possible. Some important decisions were taken in the meeting according to which In the Board of Revenue Dashboard and Service Delivery Centers, show cause notices will be issued against those officials due to negligence of death, correctness of name or delay in issuance of the individual as per the rules and directed to resolve the issue of house cultivation as soon as possible in the entire province.
The meeting also decided to start the system of death and registry through e-registry soon in the entire province.
Through e-registry, the service will be online and it will be possible to eliminate double deaths. Under this system, a person will be able to transfer only as much land as is actually in his name, thus completely eliminating “air transfers”.
GIS mapping of government land across the province will be done and an encroachment alert system will be implemented. Under this system, during the tenure of the officer in whose tenure the encroachments occur, the encroachments will be attached to him and the concerned officer will be responsible for it.
