Provincial minister for labor Fazal Shakoor Khan has announced that the rationalization process in Working Folks Grammar Schools under the Workers Welfare Board was currently underway and will be completed within 10 days.
He assured that any shortage of teachers identified through this process will be addressed immediately to ensure the quality of education was not compromised.
The minister made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of principals from Working Folks Grammar Schools at his office. Director Education of the Workers Welfare Board and other officials were also present.
The delegation informed the minister about various administrative challenges, particularly the shortage of teaching staff. After listening to their concerns, the minister reiterated the government’s commitment to resolving these issues promptly.
He directed the principals to focus on improving examination results and enhancing teaching standards. He emphasized the importance of discipline, professionalism, and effective student guidance, urging teachers to adopt modern teaching methods that promote creativity and audiovisual learning rather than rote memorization.
Fazal Shakoor Khan added that the provincial government is taking concrete steps to upgrade educational institutions and provide students with a quality learning environment, with special priority given to Working Folks Grammar Schools.
He encouraged school heads to motivate their teachers to work diligently and implement practical strategies for modernizing the education system.
