Former Director Education Hashim Khan has said that teachers can change the fate of the society by imparting knowledge to the new generation to make them responsible citizens of the country.
Key of the developed countries is the high literacy rate of the citizens residing in it.
The views he expressed while addressing the gathering as a chief guest were initiated in connection with granting cash, stationary ,school bags and other assistance to the deserving students here in Government High School Paindi Lalma,Mullagori on Saturday.
No one could deny the role of teacher in society and he or she was the one who brought real change in the society, he remarked.
The teacher’s community to lead the students and take active part in character building of the students, he maintained.
He also stressed upon them to utilize all their energies to educate the new generation of tribal regions.
He appreciated positive role of the organization for rising voice for the rights of teachers and students
Provincial representative of Tanzeeme Asateza, Pakistan Sikandar Khan Yousafzai shed light on the activity of the organization it conducted for the welfare of teachers and students.
He insisted on the philanthropists to assist them to work for the betterment of poor and orphan students in the State-run education institutions.
Deputy District Education officer Shahid Ali,Circle Officer Abdunawaz,Principal Shahid Ali beside a large number of teachers, students and people from different walks of life participated in the gathering.
Earlier, the chief guest distributed cash assistance beside free stationary and begs organized by the Tanzeeme Asateza, Khyber with support of Dia Pakistan to the 250 deserving and poor students.
