A teenager was shot dead and two others sustained injuries in collateral damage at main Lorry Adda here on Friday, police said.
Registering a first information report (FIR) with Saddar Police, one Najeebullah, resident of Hathi Khan Lungerkhel, said that his 17-year-old son, Zakirullah, was having his hair-cut at a saloon shop when the accused, Barkatullah and Tariq, resident of Hathi Khan Lungerkhel, turned up there and opened fire on his son.
He said that his son was killed on the spot while two others identified as Muhammad Bashir and Abdul Waheed sustained injuries in the firing.
The accused fled the scene after committing the murder while the dead and injured were rushed to the City Hospital.
The eye-witnesses said that after the incident, the traffic police cops chased the accused in the street but they managed to flee on motorcycle.
The motive behind the murder was stated to be an old enmity.
