Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr. Nadeem Khayal took the field in Hangu constituency NA-33 by-election.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam candidate Mufti Obaidullah came second. 210 polling stations were set up in which 110 sensitive 77 most sensitive 23 were declared normal while 4500 police FC Frontier Corps Pak Army personnel performed security duties. No untoward incident of any kind was reported in Hangu.
Imran Khan’s MNA was vacated by the death of Haji Khayal Zaman. Five candidates had participated in this by-election in which there were two independent candidates. According to unofficial results, PTI candidate Dr. Nadeem Khayal won with 21583 votes in 210 polling stations.
Similarly, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam candidate Mufti Obaidullah came second with 17153 votes out of 3 thousand Awami National Party candidates. Mufti Ubaidullah of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Dr. Nadeem Khayal of PTI, Saeed Umar of ANP and two independent candidates Muhammad Saeed and Ateeq Ahmed participated in this election in which PTI candidate Dr. Nadeem participated.
Khayal took the field this seat was vacated due to the death of PTI MNA Haji Khayal Zaman, father of Dr. Nadeem Khayal, who won on PTI ticket. Haji Khayal Zaman was diagnosed with cancer three months ago today. Due to which the Election Commission announced by-polls in NA-33 Hangu constituency. Strict security arrangements were made on this occasion.
No untoward incident of any kind was reported. 4500 Pak Army Frontier Corps Frontier Constabulary Elite Force Police Force No untoward incident of any kind took place in NA-33 constituency where the by-polls ended peacefully and amicably.
