ISLAMABAD
Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has summoned15 accused including former president Asif Ali Zardari in Thatta water supply reference.
Former president Zardari, Ejaz Ahmad Khan, and others are accused of awarding contract of Thatta water supply scheme to Harish & Company in violation of rules and regulations.
The court has summoned too accused including former secretary Ijaz Ahmad Khan, Ali Akbar Abro, Ijaz Memon, Ali Akbar, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Majid,Manahal Majid and Abdul Nadim Bhutto.
Judge AC has issued call up notices to all accused through which they have been ordered to appear in court in person on December 18.
This corruption reference was sent back to NAB after the amendments to NAB ordinance 1999 by PDM government. The reference was reopened after the amendments were nullified by SC.
