NOTTINGHAM
Once upon a time, Pakistan cricket team was known for its lethal bowling attack, but – as it seems – the team is struggling with its bowling. Pakistani bowlers have not been able to bowl out the opponents recently.
In last 25 ODIs Pakistan played, they managed to bowl out oppositions on only four occasions – only once against better opposition, South Africa. Other oppositions were Zimbabwe, Hong Kong and Bangladesh.
One reason behind Pakistan’s struggle with bowling, probably, is inexperienced players. Aamir’s struggle on wickets’ graph was another factor. While Aamir looks like to be back in rhythm, the question of experience remains there.
Another factor is Hasan Ali, who seems to have lost the rhythm and hasn’t been much impressed with ball in recent matches. In 8 ODIs he has played in 2019, Hassan managed to take only 5 wickets at an average of 81.60
And, his inability to take wickets is a matter of concern for Pakistan’s dressing room.
