PESHAWAR : At least three children were shot dead by unknown persons in Peshawar on Friday.
According to police, the dreadful incident of firing on children occurred in suburban area of Mattani Peshawar.
All three children died on the spot. The victim children are identified as Usman Khan, Farooq Khan and Shahzad Khan. The victims were close relatives.
The police have registered a case against unidentified armed attackers and started investigation of the case.
Meanwhile, parents of the victim children putt bodies on the road and launched a strong protest demonstration against the inability of police to arrest the murderers. The protesting parents and their relatives demanded immediate arrest of the murderers and bring them to justice.
