Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the Berlin incident and assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov.
In a message, he has expressed sorrow and grief over loss of precious lives in the incident. He said people of Pakistan stand with the people of Germany and Russia in hour of grief.
Prime Minister said terrorism is a common threat to the humanity and urged for international efforts to curb the menace.
At least 12 people were killed and 48 injured when a truck ploughed into a crowd at a Christmas market in Berlin.
Russia’s ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov was shot dead in front of a crowd at a posh art gallery in the capital Ankara on Monday. Police later killed the assailant.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina Tuesday on a three-day official visit following an invitation by the country’s Chairman of the Council of Ministers Dr Denis Zvidvic.
He is accompanied by Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi, Radio Pakistan reported.
During the visit, the prime minister will meet chairman and members of the country’s presidency, and members of its parliament.

He is also due to speak at a business forum and hold a meeting with members of Foreign Trade Chamber and Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of the country.
Regional and international issues of mutual concern will also come under discussion with Bosnian leadership.
