A three-day training camp for the youth of the newly merged districts is being organized by CLADO (Culture, Literature, Arts and Development Organization) and will begin on June 27 in the scenic valleys of Ayubia, continuing until June 29, 2025, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
The camp aims to equip young people with essential life skills to face real-world challenges and play an active role in driving positive social change.
The training camp will include sessions on crucial topics such as mental health, environmental awareness, entrepreneurial skills, leadership development, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), all led by experienced trainers.
The youth will receive training in dialogue and critical thinking, while also enhancing their confidence and leadership abilities through group activities and hands-on exercises.
Chief Organizer of the Summer Camp, Mr. Abdul Rehman, stated that the purpose of this camp is to provide opportunities to youth from these underprivileged areas, helping integrate them into the national development mainstream. He added that such initiatives not only empower young individuals but also make them agents of social progress.
This summer camp marks a milestone for those youth who rarely have access to such developmental opportunities. Through a conducive environment, effective training, and intellectual guidance, the camp is helping them shape their futures—and potentially become ambassadors of change in their communities.
