ISLAMABAD: Despite the imposition of Section 144 in the coastal areas of Karachi to bar people from bathing in the sea, people still flock to beaches and do not shy away from taking a bath, putting their lives at risk. On Sunday, three youths drowned in the sea while they were taking a bath at Karachi’s Hawkesbay beach. Rescuers succeeded in fishing out the body of one of the youths, while the other one, who was unconscious at that time, was also recovered. The search for the third one was underway till the filing of this news. The deceased was identified as a 25-year-old Ali Hassan, while the one who fainted as Farhan. Online
