TANK: District administration Tank under the Public Agenda of the provincial government, took decisive action against adulterated milk and destroyed toxic milk tanker here on Saturday. On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Tanveer Khan Khattak, Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Muhammad Ali, and Additional Assistant Commissioner Tank Malik Sajid Ali Khan, inspected two milk tankers arriving from Punjab. The inspection was carried out with the support of livestock department officials. Laboratory testing revealed that one of the tankers contained milk adulterated with water and the harmful chemical formalin. The contaminated milk was immediately confiscated and destroyed at Wazirabad to prevent it from reaching consumers. DC Tanveer Khattak reaffirmed that no compromise would be made on public health.
