An MoU has been signed between City Traffic Police Peshawar and Superior Group of Colleges to provide free education to the children of martyrs.
In this regard, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa( KP) Regional Director Waqas Nasir Jamal visited Traffic Headquarters Gulbahar and met Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat.
During the meeting, the issue of providing free education to the children of martyrs was discussed. Meanwhile, Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat and Waqas Nasir Jamal, Regional Director, Superior Group of Colleges agreed to provide free education to the children of martyrs between City Traffic Police Peshawar and Superior Group of Colleges.
Regional Director Waqas Nasir Jamal paid tribute to the martyrs of KP Police and City Traffic Police Peshawar and said that the sacrifices made by the police for maintaining law and order are not hidden from anyone.
Special discounts will be given to the traffic police personnel including providing free education facility to them. Regular halls will also be provided to City Traffic Police Peshawar for events and trainings in Superior Group of Colleges.
Time management and stress management courses will also be conducted for the personnel.
Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat thanked the officials of Superior Group of Colleges and Regional Director for K P and said that City Traffic Police on behalf of Peshawar.
All kinds of cooperation will be provided with Superior Group of Colleges and students.
He said that City Traffic Police Peshawar has formed a Traffic Volunteer Force comprising students of various educational institutions, whose members provide information to the citizens on the streets, for which results are emerging.
He said that City Traffic Police Peshawar issues driving license learners to students and employees of various colleges, universities and other institutions through DL van through regular DL van.
The city traffic police would continue its efforts to provide transport facilities to the citizens as usual
