Traffic police chief distributed food items among flood-hit families

Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Monday visited the relief camp set up by City Traffic Police and distributed necessary food-items among the flood affected people.
According to the details, City Traffic Police Peshawar had set up a relief camp for the flood victims of Charsadda near Pir Zakuri Bridge.
The Chief Traffic Officer visited the camp and reviewed the collection process there and appreciated the measures taken by the officers and personnel of City Traffic Police Peshawar for the camp and collection of relief materials for the flood victims.
Majeed Khan Marwat distributed relief items including milk, ghee, sugar, flour, rice and lunch boxes to the flood victims staying in temporary camps on the highway and Charsadda Road.
He said that the City Traffic Police was standing with the flood victims in this hour of difficulty and was actively participating in rescue activities.
He said that in order to avoid flood situations and any accident, the traffic system has been diverted at various places Nagman and Sardaryab so that citizens can use alternative routes to reach their destination because Peshawar, Charsadda and Shabqadar on Charsadda Road.
City Traffic Police Peshawar has also been deployed at various places to inform the citizens about alternative routes for their convenience.
Traffic police chief also said that for the convenience of citizens, City Traffic Police Peshawar is also informing citizens about alternative routes on FM radio.
