On the special directives of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Haroon Rashid Khan, City Traffic Police Peshawar facilitated the issuance and renewal of driving licenses for officers and officials of the Military Police unit through mobile DL vans.
DSP Traffic supervised the initiative, during which learners’ permits were issued on the spot, and several officers renewed their existing licenses. Officers and officials who successfully passed the required Traffic Rules and Information (TRI) test were granted full driving licenses immediately.
CTO Haroon Rashid Khan stated that the City Traffic Police was committed to serving all segments of society and extending convenience to the public through accessible services.
“DL vans are regularly dispatched to various departments and remote areas of Peshawar to provide driving license services at the doorstep of citizens,” he said.
Officers of the MPs expressed their gratitude to the Chief Traffic Officer for arranging on-site licensing services, describing the initiative as a practical step toward easing procedural burdens for government employees.
