City Traffic Police Peshawar launched an e-service mobile App “Rabata, designed to provide online license application service to citizens across the province.
According to an official statement issued here on Friday, the applicants can apply online for a driving license through traffic official mobile app “Rabata” to save their time.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) has said that the system would be available for all online users across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The online license system has been launched on the directions of Inspector General Police (IGP) KP, said traffic police chief.
Applicants can apply online appointment for driving license through official website www.ptpkp.gov.pk
Traffic Police has prepared a scheme for the convenience of Overseas Pakistanis to renew their driving license through the newly designed App.
It is very important to educate every section of the society about traffic rules, in this regard, elementary and secondary education has been formally requested to include the subject of awareness about traffic rules in the curriculum, Qamar Hayat Khan added.
An agreement has been reached with the GPO to provide the license to the applicant at his doorstep for just Rs30.
Hayatabad Learner Permit Counter was established in 2021 and the function of which was only to issue learner permits, now on this facility has been extended to license renewal, CTO added.

A laser printer has been installed in City Traffic Police Peshawar for printing according to modern and international standards, which has features that cannot be copied by anyone else.
Qamar Hayat added that an awareness campaign for citizens, students and transporters regarding traffic rules is going on across the city.
Regular seminars are also organized in schools, colleges and universities related to traffic rules and awareness about traffic rules is being given on LED screens at all BRT stations and in the Cantt area.
