PESHAWAR: A devastating fire in Kochi Bazar last night resulted in deaths of two women and two men from suffocation, with two other women sustaining injuries. According to Zainul Abiden, Media Coordinator, the blaze ignited around 10:30 PM in a cloth shop within market. Tragically, the shop was located beneath main entrance to a residential home, trapping occupants inside.Rescue 1122 firefighters responded swiftly, breaching a wall from an adjacent house to gain access and rescue those affected. The victims were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), where doctors pronounced two women and two men dead. Their bodies have been transferred to Khyber Teaching Hospital. The two injured women are currently receiving treatment in the burn ward at LRH. The cause of fire has not yet been ascertained. DNA
