SARGODHA: Education department has opened school for eunuchs in Sargodha under the directives of the government. Over 25 eunuchs have got admission in the school and started educational activities. It was told that not only books, uniform and free transport facility will be provided to eunuchs but also scholarship will be granted to them. Muhammad Ilyas Bajwa, spokesperson of education department has said transgenders have appreciated this step saying for the first time a good project has been introduced by the government for them under which we are being taught and scholarship is being granted to us. The salary of teacher is also reasonable. The teachers which have been employed in the school are also transgender. The transgender “gurru” (head) will be paid Rs 30000 salary per month. Online
