Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali Thursday said that transparency in the capital metropolitan maps would be maintained at all cost as for the first time in history, map owners appeared before the Mayor of Peshawar.
Talking to different delegations, Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali said that coming to power is aimed at providing comfort and relief to the people, which will be maintained in any case. In the East Zone, 25 out of 29 commercial maps were approved, while 4 maps were rejected for not fulfilling the rules and regulations.
Besides these 63 residential maps approved in the West Zone, 55 residential maps were approved while five maps were rejected for not fulfilling the rules and regulations. Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali said that the transparency of capital metropolitan maps will be maintained and no one will be abused.
For the first time in history, the map owners appeared in front of the Mayor of Peshawar, from whom the Mayor himself asked questions and got information about the additional money, after which the Mayor of Peshawar investigated.
After the maps of the owners were approved, last day a meeting of BCA of East Zone and West Zone was held under the Chairmanship of Peshawar Mayor Haji Zubair Ali, in which Director General Capital Metropolitan Government Syed Waqas Ali Shah, Director of Administration HR Muhammad Owais Khan, Director of East Rehman Khattak, Director West Awan, Hidayatullah, Ikramullah, Chief Building Inspector East Zone Faiz Muhammad, Chief Building Inspectors West Zone, Adnan Ahmad, Amir Zaib and map owners participated in large numbers on this occasion for the first time in the history of capital metropolitan commercial maps.
The owners themselves were called for the approval of the owners who appeared in front of the Mayor of Peshawar. On this occasion, the Mayor of Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali personally asked the owners questions and obtained information regarding the map, on which the owners refused to pay any additional money.
In this regard, Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali approved 25 out of 29 commercial maps in the East Zone, while 4 maps were rejected for not fulfilling the rules and regulations, 63 residential maps were approved, while 55 residential maps were approved in the West Zone.
Zubair Ali said that the maps were rejected as they did not fulfill the rules and regulations. They have come to power to provide relief and facilities to the people, which will be maintained in any case.
