Prominent tribal leader and former Senator Haji Abdul Rahman Faqir has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the nation on Pakistan’s historic victory against India. Expressing his gratitude, he said, “Thanks to Almighty Allah, who granted Pakistan victory against a militarily superior adversary with far greater resources.”
In his statement, Haji Abdul Rahman Faqir commended Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, and the officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces for their remarkable success in Operation “Bunyan Mursus.”
He lauded the unmatched bravery, exceptional professionalism, and unwavering determination displayed by the Pakistani forces, stating that their achievements, made possible through divine support and the steadfast backing of the nation, have set a new milestone in military history.
Haji Abdul Rahman Faqir emphasized that the unity, resilience, and solidarity demonstrated by the Pakistani people in supporting their armed forces have sent a clear message to the world – Pakistan is a peace-loving nation that prioritizes stability but possesses the strength to decisively defend itself when required.
He further highlighted that, like the rest of the country, the elders, leaders, and tribes of the former tribal districts, especially the Mohmand tribal district, proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with their courageous armed forces in fulfilling the noble duty of defending the homeland.
