Tribesmen of Khyber came out on Sunday to commemorate “Kashmir Solidarity Day” with pledge to carry on support of Kashmiries till they get their self-determination.
In this connection a public rally was organized at Babe-Khyber that was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Khyber Shah Fahad,tribal elders, students and people from different walks of life.
The participants were carrying banners inscribed with slogans in favor of Kashmiries and chanted slogans like “Kashmir will become part of Pakistan ‘‘,”Heaven under siege” etc.
Addressing on the occasion, speakers’ recommitment that every single citizen of Pakistan would continue to extend his or her moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their difficult time.
Paying rich tribute to the Kashmiries they added that for the last seven decades they had been facing Indian forces’ brutality courageously and time was near that they would win freedom.
Similarly tribesmen and officials in Bara also expressed their solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir by holding a demonstration.
They urged the international community, specifically the United Nations (UN) to break silence and play its due role to stop genocide of oppressed people of Kashmir and adopt concrete steps to resolve this longstanding dispute as per willing of Kashmiris.
They urged the world community to take notice of Indian atrocities and grant the right of living to the Kashmiries.
The participants saluted the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people for their freedom.
At the end the demonstrators offered prayers for the independence of occupied Kashmir and dispersed peacefully.
