Tribesmen of Khuga Khel demanded of Inspector General Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP),Chief Secretary KP, Commissioner,Peshawar,Capital City Police Officer(CCPO) and Tehsil Municipal Authority Pishtakhara to retrieve their land, seized by the owners of new Peshawar city scheme.
Addressing a press conference in the district press club, Landi Kotal on Saturday Akbar Khan son Naseem Akbar and Shah Zaib son of Ismatullah said that they had legal ownership of a piece of land in Tukra no. 5, Sarband,Pishtakhara,Peshawar however some land grabbers seized it and structured a new Peshawar city scheme on it.
They lodged a case in the Civil Court, Peshawar and filed an application with the Provincial Ombudsman.
The land mafia identified as Shahid and Haroon had illegally annexed their property in the township and gave them life threats in case of any action.
They had legal ownership of the property but the mafia forcibly deprived them of their land that was injustice to them, they regretted.
They demanded the highups of the Police and the administration to provide them and recover their land from land grabbers.
They also warned the public to avoid dealing in the new Peshawar city scheme as they were the legal and original owners of the land of the township.
