Locals and officials on Saturday paid glowing tributes to the forces for defeating a three times larger enemy, India one year ago.
In this connection, a rally was organized by the district administration to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army and to celebrate the victory of “Marka-e-Haq.”.
Besides Additional Assistant Commissioner Shahabuddin, a large number of political workers and tribal elders, local traders, police and other officials participated in it.
The rally started from the tehsil compound and marched towards the main bazaar of Landi Kotal Bazaar. The marchers carried banners inscribed with statements in favor of the forces bravery and holding national flags while chanting slogans in support of Pakistan and the armed forces, like, “Long Live Pakistan,” and “Long Live Pak Army,”
The speakers at the rally praised the courage, professionalism and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces for foiling the enemy’s nefarious designs and safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity.
Marka-e-Haq was the symbol of unity and determination of the Pakistani nation, they added.
The participants also valued the services rendered by the martyrs for the defense of the country.
They renewed their pledge to forge national unity and continue extending full support for the Pakistan Armed forces.
Prior to it, Quran Khwani (Quran Recitation) and special prayers were offered for the peace, prosperity, and security of Pakistan as well as for the continued success of the Pakistan Army.
It is to be stated here that the battle of Marka-e-Haq between Pakistan and India took place from April 22 to May 10,2025.
