Two arrested, Heroin Recovered in Landikotal

The Landikotal police, in a successful operation, apprehended two smugglers involved in narcotics smuggling and recovered heroin drugs from their possession, police said on Saturday.
Addtional Station House Officer(SHO) Landikotal Zeenat Khan Afridi said that on the directives of District Police Officer(DPO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal they constituted police team and stopped a car at Charwazgay check post. He said police recovered 2210 grams of heroin from the possesion of two persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Khayal Muhammad, son of Shah Hussain, and Murad, son of Khayal Zaman, residents of Charkhakhel in Bhana Marri Road, Peshawar,currently residing in Bacha Mina village in Torkham.
During preliminary investigations, the arrested persons confessed to their crimes and revealed their involvement in smuggling various types of drugs to affluent areas of Peshawar. Case gas been registered against the arrested persons. Authorities expect further revelations during the ongoing probe.
Additional Moharrar Haji Rehman of Landi Kotal Police Station stated that the suspects are currently in custody, and detailed investigations are in progress.
