KHYBER: A baby girl and a boy borne separately in two Kabul and Jalalabad bound repatriated Afghan families in transit camp, last day, Rescue 1122 and locals said. They said that w/o Hukam Jan and w/o Taji Gul gave birth to a girl and boy respectively. They said that the name of the girl was suggested to be ‘Islamia’ after the family was accommodated in the seminary Islamia, Landi Kotal and the boy was named “Kadwal’, a Pashto word meaning immigrant. Parents of two children were delighted over the birth of a daughter and son and said the Almighty Allah blessed them with the children when they were returning back to their motherland. They also thanked the officials and locals for the assistance they extended to them in time of need. Rescue 1122 officials, stationed in the transit camp said that soon after receiving information, the patients were shifted to the gyny department of headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal where necessary treatment was provided to the neonates and their mothers and then discharged them.
