KHYBER: Two minor brothers were killed and their father sustained injuries when roof of a room caved in due to heavy rainfall in the Meri Khel Lalma, Akakhel village of tehsil Bara,district Khyber, local and police said. They said that the roof of a room of the house of Jalhabib Zakha Khel fell down killing his two little sons on the spot while he himself wounded slightly. The deceased children were identified as Osama and Zaid Khan, sources said. Soon after the incident, the locals and relatives rushed to the spot and retrieved the body. On Friday morning at 11:00 am their funeral prayer was offered and buried in their ancestral graveyard. According to a report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Thursday, at least 22 people have been killed and 23 others injured in various rain-related incidents and flash floods across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since July 19.
