PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Higher Education and Local Government, Mena Khan Afridi, on Monday presented two buses to Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, aimed at facilitating smooth and timely transportation for students, a handout said. The keys of the buses were formally handed over to Vice Chancellor of Gomal University, Dr Zafar, during a brief ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Afridi said that providing improved facilities to students remained a top priority of the provincial government. He urged students to focus on their academic goals and personal development rather than engaging in unproductive activities, emphasising that educated youth were vital for the progress and prosperity of the province.
