PESHAWAR: The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has promoted two senior officers to the rank of Additional Director General (BPS-20), according to an official notification issued from the office of Secretary Khalid Ilyas. The notification reads as “Director Salahuddin has been elevated to the post of Additional Director General Revenue, while Director Eid Badshah has been promoted as Additional Director General Narcotics”. It added that both officers have been promoted on their own pay scale. The decision comes as part of departmental restructuring aimed at strengthening senior leadership within the Excise Directorate.
