Regi Police on Wednesday freed two persons kidnapped by outlaws and arrested a person involved in the kidnapping, said police.
A police team led by DSP Regi Fida Hussain and SHO Javed Akhter raided a house and recovered two persons who were abducted a few days ago.
The abducted persons Adnan and Jehanzaib have been tied up with ropes and were subjected to physical torture.
The action was taken under the special direction of SP Warsak Division Arshad Khan.
Police said that the arrested person has been identified as Babir resident of Mullahzai area. During the raid, police recovered six pistols, a stolen vehicle, several number plates, and two motorcycles.
The arrested person has pleaded guilty to the crime and applied several tactics to avoid arrest.
SHO Regi told reporters that important revelations are expected from the arrested suspect.
