Unidentified gunmen opened fire on the vehicle of two Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) officers in Muslim Town area of Lahore. The officers were safe.
According to police, the vehicles of FBR Deputy Commissioners Salman Ali and Ali Solangi were shot at from behind in the area of Muslim Town Police Station, which damaged the vehicle but both the officers remained safe. Unidentified motorcyclists fled after the incident.
Taking notice of the incident, IG Punjab ordered immediate arrest of the accused. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has sought a report from the CCPO.
