Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah said unified efforts are imperative to bring political and economic stability in the country. Talking to a group of reporters here on Sunday, Shah called for elimination of politics based on personalities, personal interests and gaining power.
He re-emphasized that only sincere and honest leadership can steer the current quagmire situations.
Also, he made a demand again to bring reforms to conduct free, fair and transparent polls in the country.
He said a sense of deprivation has been increasing in all federating units because rulers always kept their interest high over the public rights and issues and remained indifferent toward resolution of their issues.
“We are making vigorous struggle and launch campaign from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Karachi and Gilgit Baltistan to Kashmir for the public rights and authority”,
He said ATP wants to make Pakistan a true Islamic welfare state wherein all facilities, due rights and justice were provided to people.
Faiq emphasized it is essential to ensure public authority and equal participation of people in the electoral process and power.
He said politics of personal interests, vendetta and gaining power brought Pakistan on a difficult juncture so the country can only pull out from the prevailing situation by collective efforts.
Collective leadership was a requirement under the prevailing circumstances, Shah asserted.
We want to keep people away from governments and politics that had been affected by NAB and misfortune, trouble, calamity, he said.
The ATP chairman asked the people to set aside from people who were relying on politics of fake promises and claims.
He said the polarized politics are tearing Pakistan apart. Shah once again said the solution of all issues was only laying with the formation of a joint board.
He made it clear that issues cannot be resolved until the giving authority and power to people on an equitable basis.
He said the ATP wanted a concrete network from Centre to Union Council level to resolve the public issues at the door steps.
