PESHAWAR: Vice Chancellor Agriculture University Peshawar, Dr Jahan Bakht, on Friday chaired the 84th session of the Finance and Planning Committee (F&PC). The meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary Agriculture and Livestock and Cooperative Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Naeem Akhtar, Deputy Secretary Higher Education Department Fayyaz Khan, Deputy Secretary Finance Department Syed Ibrahim Shah, Registrar Dr. Rizwan Ahmed, Treasurer Dr. Abdul Salam, Director Teaching Professor Dr. Muhammad Idris, Director Advanced Studies and Research. Professor Dr. Mohammad Sajid, Deputy Treasurer Fayyaz Ahmed, Deputy Director Planning and Development Saad Saudur Rahman, Assistant Treasurers Gohar Ali, Assistant Director Quality Assurance Kamran Nawaz also participated. VC Professor Dr. Jahan Bakht welcomed the participants and termed the arrival of the participants as a blessing for the university. The agenda of the meeting was presented by Treasurer Dr. Abdul Salam. In which various issues including SOPs of research projects, increase in salaries and pensions by the government were discussed and will be presented in the upcoming syndicate meeting. Dr. Jahan Bakht, while thanking the participants for bringing the finance and planning meeting to a successful conclusion, said that everyone should work tirelessly to take the university on the path of development.
