On the direction of Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Amjad Meraj, the South Waziristan District Administration organized an Eid-ul-Fitar party for the elders, Maliks, Ulam,s , youth and journalists at tank DC compound South Waziristan.
All the staff of the administration including Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Amjad Meraj, Additional Deputy Commissioner Fahidullah, District Police Officer Khanzeb Mohmmand, Assistant Commissioner Ladha Farhan and Assistant Commissioner Sarvekai Ijaz Akhtar attended the function.
The district administration had also invited media representatives on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner also held separate meetings with the tribal elders to resolve their issues.
The elders appreciated the Eid-Ul-Fitar party organized by the administration and said that we have always cooperated with the administration for the establishment of peace in South Waziristan and will continue to cooperate with the district administration for law and order and development.
Will On the occasion, people said that the Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan, keeping in view the tribal traditions, had organized Eid-Ul-Fitar parties in the three sub-divisions of South Waziristan, Wana, Sarvekai and Ladha, which are commendable.
Therefore, the district administration should maintain the said tribal traditions in the same way so that this process of cooperation with each other can continue.
