Thirty five Pak-Afghan war affected families received food package in Sheen Pokh, the bordering area of Loy- Shelman tehsil Landi Kotal on Sunday.
Assistant Commissioner, Landi Kotal Mr Inamullah Khan Wazir flanked by Tehsildar Landi Kotal Temour Afridi and focal person of Member Provincial Assembly Adnan Qadri, Maulana Shoab gave away the food package to the deserving families.
The food package comprising flour,ghee,tea max,pulses,green and red tea etc.
Speaking on the occasion AC Inamullah Khan Wazir said that the district administration, Khyber will never leave along the war affectees in the hours of need and will provide all basic essentials to its best.
The provincial government is well aware of the miseries of affected families and will utilize all sources to ease their problems, he remarked.
Almost two week long Pak-Afghan border clashes affected hundreds of families in Bacha Maina, village, Torkham, Landi Kotal and Shelman and indiscriminate cross border shelling has forced them to leave their homes and to take shelter in secure areas.
The affected people thanked the administration and the MPA for caring them and granting them the package in the month Ramadan.
