Foreign Office (FO) has said Pakistan reiterates its unwavering support for Palestinians adding we demand for unconditional ceasefire in Gaza.
This was said by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in her weekly press briefing here in FO Friday.
She held Pakistan does not believe in zero-sum relationships. The expansion of our relations with one country should not be considered as coming at the expense of our relationship with any other country.
Responding to a question, the spokesperson once again stated that there is no dialogue taking place between Pakistan and the TTP. She emphasized that Pakistan has stated on a number of occasions that the proposals to initiate talks with the TTP are an affront to the families of thousands of victims of terrorism.
She said president of Belarus visited Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.
During his visit bilateral ties between the two countries came under discussion. The two sides exchanged views on regional and international situation. Several agreements and MOUs were also signed. Road map for comprehensive cooperation for the period from 2025 to 2027 was also signed.
She said speaker National Assembly (NA) Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq is on the official visit of Russia at present. He will hold bilateral meetings therein. MOUs for strengthening parliamentary corporation will be signed.
Welcoming ceasefire agreement in Lebanon she said we support sovereignty of Lebanon.
Pakistan condemns continuing Israeli atrocities in Lebanon.
We express full solidarity with the people of Palestine. International community should hold Israel accountable in aggression and genocide in Palestine.
Human rights violations by India in Occupied Kashmir are continuing. Pakistan will continue to extend moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiris.
She indicated that Deputy prime minister and foreign minister Ishaq Dar will visit Iran on December 2 and 3 to participate in ECOs foreign ministers conference.
Reacting to statement of UK Parliament and EU ambassador on arrest of Mati Ullah Jan she said information ministry is in better position to give any reply in this regard.
She stated president and prime minister have expressed grave concern over incidents in district Kurram. Investigations have been started into incidents. Interior ministry can give further information in this regard.
